Thanks to impeccable service and a high quality product, La Semeuse fast established its reputation and became known as a symbol of excellence.
Until 1914 La Semeuse expanded thanks to the efforts of its founder. In 1915 as a French citizen he was called up for military service and died one year later on the Balkan front line. His young widow took over the direction of the business and not only provided energy for growth but also diversified not the roasting of coffee.
